This tawa is ideal to prepare chapatis, rotis, or shallow crispy Dosa, set Dosa, chapati, phulka and paratha. Made with heavy-duty cast iron this tawa is sturdy and long-lasting. Care should be taken to use only heat-resistant silicone, plastic or wooden spoon /spatula for cooking. Metal spoon/spatula should be avoided. The heat retaining properties of cast iron helps to keep the food warm and distributes the heat evenly . Before first use, rinse the NIRLON Cast Iron Tawa with hot water and towel dry thoroughly. Then wash the product with dishwashing soap/liquid only and towel dry thoroughly. Regular bathing soap and harsh cleaning detergents should never be used to clean pre-seasoned cast-iron cookware.
